01The boat
GERRIS is a 10.2-metre asymmetric aluminium power catamaran with a closed wheelhouse, a cuddy cabin and an enclosed day head — a boat for the months on either side of summer, not only for August.
A fixed SAF 2205 duplex hydrofoil spans the tunnel. It carries about a third of the boat at cruise, which is why thirty knots costs roughly half the installed power rather than all of it. The hull above the waterline is bare satin aluminium: no fairing compound, no paint.
She is certified CE Category C for up to eight people, on twin 300 hp outboards with electro-hydraulic steering and joystick control.
02What defines her
The foil takes about 34 % of the load at 30 knots and 60 % at 40. Between 20 and 35 knots total resistance barely moves — the foil unloads the hull as fast as speed adds drag. Thirty knots draws around 355 hp of the 600 installed, which is what makes it the design cruise rather than a headline number.
Welded aluminium with transverse frames: 5083 bottom, 5086 topsides. Above the waterline there is no fairing and no paint — the satin metal is the finish. Below it, epoxy primer and copper-free antifouling.
A closed pilothouse with insulation, headliner and linings, a cuddy cabin with a proper berth, and an enclosed day head with a shower pan. Galley with induction hob and an 85-litre refrigerator.

07Build & certification
GERRIS is built at the Stingray yard in Burgas, Bulgaria, and is assessed to CE Category C under ISO 12217-1 with RINA Bulgaria as notified body.
Cruise speed is the design point. Maximum speed, draft and loaded displacement are being confirmed by the naval-architecture work and on sea trials, and are not published until they are signed off.
